Thrify turns “there are a bunch of thrift stores around here” into a single, efficient route you can start in seconds.

Why we built Thrify

Thrifting rewards persistence. The more stores you visit, the better your odds of finding the jacket, lamp or record you did not know you were looking for. But planning a thrift day usually means searching a map, opening a dozen tabs to compare reviews, guessing at an order, and then zig-zagging across town.

We wanted a single button that does all of that: find the stores worth visiting, put them in the smartest order, and hand the route to your navigation app. That is Thrify.

How it works

When you tap I'm Feeling Thrify!, Thrify uses your approximate location to search Google Maps for thrift stores nearby. It filters out stores that are marked closed, ranks the rest by rating and review count, and asks Google's route optimizer for the order that visits them all in the least time. You can reorder or remove stops, then open the finished route in Google Maps or share it with a friend.

Want something different? Customize lets you search for vintage or consignment shops, change the search radius, set a minimum rating, and start or end somewhere other than your current location.

What we believe

• Secondhand first. Every item bought used is one that did not need to be made new.
• Respect for your privacy. Thrify does not require an account and does not store your location. Read our privacy policy.
